Canada's greatest griller contest

(NC)-It's no secret that Canadians love to barbecue, and a recent national Léger Marketing survey confirms that an overwhelming 85 per cent of Canadians cook on the grill. In addition, the research also revealed that 70% of Canadians consider themselves adventurous when it comes to grilling and 43% barbecue without a recipe.

"Canadians appear to view the grill as a place where they can relax and have a little fun with different flavours and foods," says Jason Farrell, Brand Manager for Diana Sauce and Marinades.

In celebration of Canadians' bold grilling techniques, Diana Sauce has launched a search for Canada's Greatest Griller. Backyard cooks are invited to visit www.CanadasGreatestGriller.com and share their best grilling recipes using Diana Sauce or Diana Marinade. The recipes along with a photo or video will be posted online so Canadians can vote for their favourites. The winner will claim the title of Canada's Greatest Griller as well as a Diana Sauce Grilling Kit, a new gas barbeque and $5,000 cash.

"Diana's Canada's Greatest Griller contest is a great way for Canadians to try new things and test their sense of adventure on the grill this summer," adds Farrell. "Even if you don't want to post a photo or video, you can still get involved by voting online for your favourite entries."
